Nickel 205 alloy is a wrought nickel alloy with properties similar to that of nickel 200 alloy. It exhibits excellent mechanical, electrical and corrosion-resistant properties and good oxidation resistance.
The alloy is ferromagnetic below 360°C (680°F), and contains small additions of aluminum and titanium for a good combination of mechanical and electrical properties.
Incoloy 205 Applications
- Magnetostrictive transducers
- Mechanical supports
- Transistor housings
